On the morning of January 15th, ONG ParaĆso dos Focinhos received a report about a very distressed dog. The lady who discovered him on her way to work was concerned as the dog was unable to stand, eat or respond to her. It appeared that the dog had been abandoned and was in terrible shape. The team at ONG ParaĆso dos Focinhos were shocked when they saw him. However, despite his dire condition, when he saw the kind people who came to help him, he managed to summon the last of his strength to wag his tail in gratitude.
The compassionate woman was unable to bring the feeble canine with her to work. Instead, she snapped a few photos, captured a brief video, and reached out to the ONG ParaĆso dos Focinhos for assistance. Before departing, she kindly draped a blanket over the pup and bid him farewell as he wagged his tail, seemingly begging her not to abandon him. The rescue team arrived promptly, but unfortunately, the ailing dog was in great distress and severely dehydrated.
A blood test was conducted to determine if he had any symptoms of anemia. Due to his inability to consume sufficient quantities of food, a blood transfusion was deemed necessary.
In just a few days, the courageous young lad put on an additional 4 pounds, but unfortunately, he still struggled with standing and walking properly. A moniker was bestowed upon her, Dega, and by the seventh day, she began to develop a healthy appetite.
Dega’s leg had shown significant improvement after a period of 3 weeks, however it remained slender and was still not able to perform running activities properly.
It has been 3 months since they discovered her, and she has undergone a significant transformation. Now it’s time for her to reunite with the person who saved her. Don’t forget to spread the word by sharing this with your loved ones!
