When I was nine years old, I eagerly awaited my birthday with excitement and anticipation, hoping for a flood of well-wishes from loved ones. However, as the day progressed, I realized that the anticipated wave of greetings never arrived, leaving me feeling disappointed and unworthy of celebration. But, upon reflection, I came to the realization that my worth and the significance of my special day should not be measured by external recognition. Birthdays are more than just the number of well-wishes received. They provide an opportunity to cherish the love and joy within ourselves, appreciate meaningful relationships, and create unforgettable memories. Despite the few birthday greetings, I am determined to make this year one filled with self-love, growth, and unforgettable moments.
